Barnbrook design worked with advertising agency Grey London to produce this recent ad campaign for charity the British Heart Foundation. BHF wanted to differentiate itself from the NHS by not appearing overly medical and to have more of an emotional affinity with the way people feel about heart disease. Barnbrook Design directed the advert and designed typographic animations featuring custom typography and typefaces from VirusFonts.

 

The spot features a Virtual Heart Simulator, a 3d animated heart which was developed over many years as a teaching aid for heart surgeons. The campaign proved very successful and as a result BHF received over 5 times the amount of calls than they would normally.
