We’re not sure what it is about 2010 but we seem to be receiving an unusually large amount of food-based presents. Most seem to be from students trying to bribe us for placements or jobs! We’ve received an apple, a cup cake and black jacks, but a lovely little box of goodies that came through the post the other day really stood out, and it wasn’t even a bribe.
Friend of the studio Harry Heptonstall sent us an Easter package – wrapped in specially designed wrapping paper – containing six paper bags. Each bag came filled with a different type of chocolate egg and featured a joke delicately rendered in a unique typographic treatment. It was lovely to receive a gift that such an amazing amount of effort had gone into; thanks Harry!
